This exhibition investigates transformation through ritualistic destruction and repair. Ry Van Der Hout photographs intimate portraits on glass, deliberately shatters them, then meticulously reconstructs each fragment using traditional stained-glass techniques. This process creates strange new versions of the subjects that paradoxically feel more authentic than the originals, challenging conventional understandings of wholeness and healing.
